Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
Our site provides you with opportunities to let us know that you are working directly with one of our strategic partners. When you do so, either at time of registration, through our mentoring program, using a partner discount code, or by changing your contact preferences, that partner will have access to appropriate contact and usage information for the sole purpose of providing better service to you as a user of this system.
Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time by contacting us via the email address given on our website, or by loggin in to your account settings and updating your preferences and information provided.
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. You don't need a PayPal account, but we use PayPal Payments Advanced Service to process payments using their embedded check-out feature (https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/paypal-payments-advanced). PayPal controls that portion of our website where credit card information is entered. We do not collect or store any credit card data in our system other than a notification that payments were successfully processed along with the last 4 digits that PayPal sends us to help you identify later which card you used to pay for your transaction. At no time do we ever have knowledge of your full credit card information.
Wherever we collect other sensitive information, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the top or bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. All our data and systems are maintained in a secure environment by our hosting provider.
In order to use some features of this website, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you about the products/services on our site in which you have expressed interest. At your option, you may also provide (if available) demographic information (such as gender or age) about yourself, but it is not required.
